We love Captain, but he could generally be described as an energetic bundle of uncontrolled happy energy. Captain would also pull you around if you tried to walk him on a leash, wouldnâ??t come when called, and had an annoying habit of running around the edge of the pool, barking incessantly. My wife learned about â??The Muttmanâ? and asked him to come over to the house to work with Captain and, more importantly, work with my wife and me. Within fifteen minutes Stacy had Captain walking calmly along his side on a loose leash, using a tennis racket to block â?? not hit â?? Captain when he tried to rush forward. Captainâ??s whole demeanor changed in those fifteen minutes. He went from a wild, emotional dog to a calm, relaxed, thinking dog who actually seemed relieved to know he didnâ??t have to race from one point to another. Within 45 minutes of additional work with Stacy, Captain was sitting and then laying calmly by Stacyâ??s side and then ours on command (and with a slight reinforcing tug downward tug on his leash) while we sat in lawn chairs and had a pleasant conversation. He wasnâ??t perfect and sometimes jumped up, but we were able to bring him back to a calm state each time. After Stacy left, my wife and I worked at walking Captain on a loose leash and having him sit and then lay down on command. We werenâ??t half as effective as Stacy in the beginning, but after only a few days, Captain was actually walking quietly on a loose leash and sitting and laying down like I never would have believed was possible. And you could just see a whole change in his personality as he learned that he could control his own emotions. he is a totally different dog from the one we lived with for four years of pandemonium. We canâ??t endorse Stacy and his methods strongly enough. So if you have a dog that needs training of any type, run - donâ??t walk - to the phone and call â??The Muttmanâ?, or go to one of his clinics. Terry, Julie, and Captain

Hello Stacy, Sorry, I am little late in sending you this email, I hope you do not mind it. I just want to say Thank You for giving us valuable information on training our German Sheppard puppy, Shera. The techniques that you shared with us are working wonderfully. I feel very confident with Shera. Taking Shera for a walk doesn't sound as 'Chore' anymore. I am enjoying it. We are following your advice in giving Shera food. Now, he waits until we say 'Eat' ! That is really awesome. My husband, krishna did follow your technique of claming the dog and enforcing the leadership. It worked. He is behaving so far. I haven't seen him growling at anybody so far. Again,A BIG THANK YOU and please stop by anytime for Indian tea and a snack. thanks, Sunita p.s. I just recommonded your name to my friend, Patricia. Her daughter Jennie has bought a yorkie. She will be calling you today. =

Miracles do happen! Who could believe that in just 3 hours, we could get control of our monster of a boxer/bulldog mix. Stacy is AMAZING!! He didn't really train our dog, he trained US!! I can't believe that it's as simple as 1-2-3. Own the door, the walk, & food. Be calm assertive and everything falls into place. Stacy was very patient and knowledgable. Thanks Again!

Stacy, thanks for all your help with Roxy today. I did not think it would be possible to walk Roxy without being pulled. To leave the door open and not worry about her bolting. You gave me the confidence to take control. My fear has always been I don't read dogs well. You answered that question by saying you just do it.... Thanks

Stacy - thank you for coming to work with us! Already, our family is much more calm and peaceful. With two spoiled out of control 60+ pound English bulldogs, our lives revolved around avoiding certain situations - walking them with people or dogs around, entertaining people in our home and, heaven help us - the doorbell ringing. Thanks to you, we no longer fear those situations and have reclaimed our lives. You are amazing - you taught us both so much. You immediately earned our respect and confidence with the way you walked into our home and dealt with Conroy. I hope you realize what a profound impact you have had on our lives. THANK YOU. LeeAnn and Saunders
